RECOMMENDED VACCINES
Canine Parvovirus (CPV-2) /Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) and Canine Adenovirus-2 (CAV-2) and Parainfluenza Virus (CPV) - Commonly referred to as the "4-in-1", DHPP or DAPP vaccine
- Begin as early as 6 weeks of age, then every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age.
- A single dose is given 1 year following the last dose of the initial series, then no more frequently than every 3 years.
Rabies
- Administer a single dose as early as 12 weeks of age depending on the product label. Revaccinate 1 year later.
- Administer 2 doses, 12 months apart.
- Boost as required by State or local ordinance OR every 3 years.
DISCRETIONARY VACCINES
Bordetella bronchiseptica - Administer a single dose intranasally as early as 8 weeks of age.
- Annual booster is indicated for dogs with sustained risk.
· Vaccine should be administered at least one week prior to anticipated exposure.
