PAWS is a high volume spay and neuter clinic providing services to the public and rescue groups. 

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant/Technician.

This is a FULL-TIME position, Monday through Thursday. NO nights, NO emergencies, NO HOLIDAYS and NO on-call status so you can have a life outside your job. This position is also eligible for medical/dental insurance, vacation/holiday pay and profit-sharing (i.e. quarterly bonuses).

Technician or Assistant Should be capable of:

• Vaccine Protocols and Administration
• Safe animal handling and restraint
• Perform SQ, IM and IV injections/IV
• Catheter Placement and Venipuncture
• Patient discharge (Rooms)
• Sample collection/in-house labs
• Surgical Prep, Pre-Op and Post Op Care
  
• Dental Prophylaxis
  
• Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
  

We are willing to train on some skills.
